I had first Cataract surgery in October 2023 and 2nd surgery in Dec 2023.
Support in the Clinic Area and during surgery was very good.
It was at Queen Margaret Hosp, Dunfermline.
I have a few suggestions to make about how to improve the follow on experience.
*The Patient Information Leaflet mentions to avoid bending with your head...
It would be helpful to be given advice on:-
e.g. how to tie shoe laces- as resting the leg over the other knee isn't that successful as the bow is then at a sidewards angle and tends to work lose when out shopping.
e.g. also how to get things from base units.
The Patient Information Leaflet isn't too difficult too read after surgery without specs, but we also need the eye drop bottles to have bolder print.
