I am writing on behalf of my 75 year old mother who had a skin cancer lesion removed in December 2023 by Dr Brown, one of FVRH''s Plastic Surgeons.
My Mum was also treated by Kirsteen, a minor operations Nurse (I am unsure of her true title but I feel like angel should be included in it!) who removed a skin graft for her to be placed where the lesion was removed.
I could not fault these ladies with any aspect of the care and treatment. They treated my Mum with gold standard care and made the whole experience a million times better.
My Mum was extremely nervous and they both eased her with their kind words, humour and general attitudes.
My Mum's aftercare through Dermatology at Stirling Community Hospital has also been flawless.
Lena, the wonderful nurse she has been seen by twice has been amazing. She was terrified to have the dressing removed from her skin graft and Lena was behind kind and patient with here.
These wonderful women have made a very scary time in my Mum's life far more than bearable and I cannot thank them all enough.
"Staff eased my mum with their kind words"
