"The doctor had not arrived nor informed the surgery"

About: Leighton Road Surgery

(as the patient),

I struggled to get an appointment at Leighton Road Surgery in Leighton Buzzard, the system requires calling at 8am however I have never been less than 30 in the queue.  After nearly 5 weeks, I finally managed to grab an appointment through the app.  I turned up 25 minutes early and signed in at reception.  45 minutes after the allocated appointment time and over an hour of waiting and still not being seen I went to reception, only to be told the doctor had not arrived nor informed the surgery.

I explained I was deeply concerned about a growing lump in my right breast, had waited over 4 weeks to get the appointment and waited an hour.  The reception simply responded that they didn't know what else to suggest.

I feel it is a disgrace of an organisation, that is putting peoples lives at risk though incompetence and a complete lack of care toward its patients
