About: East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust / Emergency ambulance King's Mill Hospital / Diabetic medicine King's Mill Hospital / Paediatrics

(as the patient),

The ambulance team was wonderful and very supportive, Resus at King's Mill Hospital was efficient and kept me up to date.

The children's ward was fantastic, kind caring, and considerate.

The diabetic team provided comprehensive care and is providing a consistent and calming service at home to learn to live with type 1 diabetes.

thank you all so so much.

Thank you for taking the time to share your kind words with us. We do hope your son is feeling much better now and we are delighted to hear that our ambulance crews were able to help you in what must have been a scary time for you all. We are very proud of our ambulance crews.

If you are able to, we would appreciate you sharing your comments with our Patient Experience team, with as much detail as you can (e.g. date, time and location), so that they might identify the crew who cared for your son and share your words with them. You may contact them via our website or via our voicemail line 0333 012 4216 (where we aim to respond to details left within 3 days – please note this is not a “live line”).

Best wishes, Sarah Connerton, Patient Experience Manager, East Midlands Ambulance Service
