Ive only started to get thrush over the last year and even though Ive taken a suppository treatment, it did not seem to help my circumstances. I had assumed the cause of reason was to do with the kind of diet, perfumed products, tight underpants and made necessary changes. And yet, there were recurrences. I was also very confused with the symptom of Thrush and BV as they are similar but slightly different. The clinic allowed me an on-day appointment based on availability and were quick to help me. Abbey was very good in guidance, the nurse quickly examining my symptoms. I was given the space to share all my thoughts and concerns in confidence and she was patient and kind. Based on observation, it was suggested I try lubricant free latex as it seems to disturb the balance of flora and cause thrush. I was also advised not to use vaginal washes as the foaming agent can be irritable and can upset the balance. I was given the necessary samples to use for the betterment of my circumstances.
