"ICU QEUH"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

(as a service user),

I was admitted as an emergency to the ICU at the QEUH last week under the care of Dr MacKay and Dr Doherty. Both doctors went above and beyond in my medical management and also in dealing with my family / friends who were obviously worried about the situation. Staff nurse Chris looked after me during my admission and was truly excellent. As a medical professional myself I cannot express how exceptional each of these individuals were in my management and the extreme respect I have for each of them. They are true credits to the profession.

Dear MrAG

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about Dr MacKay, Dr Docherty and Chris. Being admitted to ICU can be worrying and distressing time for patients and their families, and it is good to hear about the care and support you received from the staff. It is always so encouraging for our staff to receive positive feedback and I will ensure that they have sight of your kind words.

I hope you are recovering well.

Take Care

Nicole
