"Great service and fantastic staff!"

I've been needing a hernia repair for nearly 4 years but my diabetes caused problems and outsourced surgery was deferred a couple of times due to high blood sugars. I feel that I was then messed about by NHS and eventually got scheduled for surgery.

The staff at Wishaw General could not have been better. I was welcomed, put at ease and although my surgery was not scheduled until later that morning, I had met all the surgeons and anaesthetists, had all my checks, and went into surgery. I was discharged mid afternoon, much earlier than expected but with the right level of communication, care and attention. Great service, fantastic staff and well done to the NHS!
