After a serious life threatening infection which left me in intensive care I reached out today for a duty worker as I needed to see about an urgent review for my medication increase . I rang 5 times the receptionist kept saying that the duty worker was in an assessment , then they had gone to lunch and then the rest of the day I was told I would be getting a call. I rang for the last time at 4.50pm and was told that they had gone .
I need my medication reviewed ASAP and my GP will not do an increase as I am under Arndale House and they control my medication. I know that I will need to see a psychiatrist for this to happen but my care co ordinator has left for Christmas and I’m not seeing her til the 2nd of January and she was meant to book a medication review but this was a few weeks ago and it has not been done.
I do not reach out to the service unless I really need support and it is just disappointing.
