I last saw a doctor at this practice before the pandemic and I am annually subject to both blood and urine being checked . Following my last sample I received a four page email indicating I now have a degenerative disease . The email was full of abbreviation's and words I had to get defined . I appreciate I may be getting older but what has happened to plain English communications , face to face meetings . I am lucky I am computer literate but 25 % of the population do not have access to the internet and are digitally excluded . This gross insensitivity style of communication must be reviewed.
On past occasions when i have visited the surgery I have frequently heard people alarmed , anxious on not being able to access a doctor or be assisted to get other health services .
So I walk away I prefer not to listen to these patients dilemma's in a public place . Talking to other patients it is clear the service delivery and communications has not improved this year .
"Poor service delivery "
