"She has changed my whole outlook on my situation"

I was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of the year. I was afraid, very down and struggling. It was as if my world was crumbling around me and I felt incredibly overwhelmed. I was offered counselling at The Fern Centre which I accepted.

The team at the centre were always kind and welcoming. The counsellor was professional, kind, patient and listened to my fears. She has helped me to cope in a way that I didn't think was possible, and has changed my whole outlook on my situation.

I will be forever grateful for this service.
