I was recently called by an excellent young doctor from NMABS clinic who triaged me following a positive COVID test. I had simply uploaded the result of the test and was contacted by this unit due to my reduced immunity status.
The doctor explained very clearly which monoclonal antibody treatment would be most suitable for me, checking for any drug interactions. When I arrived I had a little trouble finding the unit but was the doctor came out to meet me.
Both she and my nurse were excellent at making me feel comfortable and were efficient in setting up the infusion, with the nurse carrying out regular obs and checking carefully my details and that I kept well throughout.
The benefits of this intervention were clearly explained and the staff very supportive and caring. The nurse accompanied me to the car and made sure I got away safely. Excellent service and resource! Thank you for providing it!
