"Treated with respect"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

I was admitted to A&E this week, the downside is the 9 hour wait, but Ambulance crew, the lovely nurses and the very caring doctor i saw were excellent. They must get a lot of stick off patients and after sitting there for so long i observed some of it. They do there very best under the circumstances and i have nothing but praise for them. So thank you very much x

Hi my name is Catherine and part of my role is responding to posts on Care Opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback after being admitted to A & E.

I am very sorry to hear you had a long wait, attendances to A & E have significantly increased and this is impacting on waiting times.

It is reassuring to hear that you felt that the lovely nurses and very caring doctor were excellent.

I will share your feedback with all the A & E team, I am sure they will appreciate your positive comments.

As a Trust we strive to provide a high level of care and patient well being and are actively trying to improve waiting times.

Kind regards

Catherine Healy
