Called surgery in morning and all appointments had gone so triaged through 111. Surgery called me within 1/2 hour asking to attend in person that afternoon.
Saw a Physician Assistant who was calm, efficient, thorough and friendly. Allowed me plenty of time to ask any questions and explained her proposed plan of action.
Within 24 hours I had been ems-rayed and within 8 days had a CT scan.
Really impressive service.
