"I am so disappointed and yet again feel I have no support"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Dermatology

(as a service user),

I was transferred to Stobhill from Glasgow Royal after having a truly horrific experience there. After my first appointment at Stobhill, I felt reassured and happy that I was finally being taken seriously.

Sadly I never got the follow up appointment that I was supposed to have. I called to ask when my appointment would be as I appreciate that there are large waiting lists and that there are people worse off than myself. I also had a fairly urgent query I wished to discuss as I am pregnant and struggling with some dermatological issues.

The response I received when I called was that I had taken too long to get in touch after not getting a follow up appointment, and that I would have to rejoin the waiting list via my GP.

I am so disappointed and yet again feel I have no support. A particularly worrying time when I am also trying to think about the health of my baby.
