2023 has been a very busy year especially at the start....January I failed my driving test and had to get my dog's bloods done, February I gave birth to a handsome beautiful boy and in the same week I got the blood results back for my dog, unfortunately came back as cancerous.
March my best friend was moving up from Glasgow and I was preparing for my wedding, I got married in April, which you would think was a joyous time. Unfortunately 2 days prior to my wedding day I lost my dog. Whilst in the whole of this 4 months my now husband worked away from home, he was home in total 20 days which included him taking holidays for the birth of our 2nd child.
End of April I started to disconnect from my family and friends, not sleeping making sure my house was up to scratch, falling out with everyone, May I celebrated my 1st born's 3rd birthday explaining why his dog wasn't here,
June/July life had taking its toll on me and I had to get help, I did not know I had postnatal depression, in my head it was just normal to feel like I did.
July I started with Aberdeen Perinatal to which I have came on a long way and now I have been discharged.
The start of my year was very up and down.
