"Kind compassionate care"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Maternity care

(as a relative),

Just wanted to say how well cared for my wife was at her 12 week scan at the Simpsons at the Royal in Edinburgh. Clearly the outpatients department is very busy and yet from receptionist to phlebotomist to sonographers she was treated kindly and compassionately. I particular shout-out to Stephen one of the sonographers who took such care and was reassuring and explained all the anatomy and measurements to check nuchal translucency e.t.c. He was gentle and had a lovely bedside manner. Christmas pay-rise for you all I think. Thanks again

Dear RB070993,

My name is Claire and I work as part of the Patient Experience Team.

Thank you so much for telling us your feedback of your experience at Simpsons at the Royal during your wife's 12 week scan. It was lovely to read that all the staff members provided you both, with such compassionate and informative care. I am glad to hear that your appointment was so positive.

Please be assured we have shared this with the maternity team who will be very grateful to receive this.

Best wishes,

Claire
