I am writing to express my gratitude for the care received during my recent assessment and surgery at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
I was admitted in distress and in serious pain and discomfort.
The care received was second to none and made the whole experience seem less terrible.
From the nursing care to surgery to recovery I felt safe, attended to and very very grateful.
I do, however, know it takes more for a hospital to function successfully then the clinical staff alone - therefore my gratitude is extended to all staff.
We are blessed to have a free-at-the-point-of-need NHS Scotland - i hope this continues to be the case.
Thank you for your care and attention
