"Positivity and encouragement"

About: Community Services - North Devon / Community Rehabilitation

(as a service user),

I broke my hip socket after falling. After coming out of hospital I needed to be taught how to walk and regain my balance. Susan taught me how to use the walking frame, and how to do balance exercises. Vikki made arrangements for extra handrails for the stairs and outside steps.

By the end of the six weeks of rehabilitation, Susan had me able to go up and down stairs, and the outside steps, and drive my car. Also, I was walking ably with a walking stick. I have nothing but praise for the positivity and encouragement of both Vikki and Susan, Bideford local physiotherapists.

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide some lovely feedback about the care and support you received from myself and Vikki.

I am so pleased you are doing so well and great that you are able to get out and about again.

I hope you continue to stay steady and safe and have no further accidents. The Bideford Community Rehab Team would be more than happy to see you in the future if your needs change.

Many thanks

Susan
