"Extremely grateful for the care I was given"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I was admitted seriously ill,I lost 9kg in a week, dehydrated and malnourished. I felt as ill as I had ever in my life.

My experience and treatment in ward 205 Edinburgh Royal Infirmary was excellent.

The nurses, junior doctors, cleaners, housekeeper and nursing assistants were absolutely first class. The care and attention to detail was exceptional.

The only down side was the food.I was gluten and dairy free and found my choice was very very limited. This is only a small gripe as am extremely grateful for the care I was given by everyone involved. Thank you.

Dear Recbw88

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us about your recent experience in Ward 205. The team will be delighted to hear the care you received was exceptional. I will make sure this is be passed onto them.

I'm sorry to hear the choice of food was limited for your specific needs and I will pass this on to the Catering Team for them to review.

I hope you are recovering well and thank you again for your kind words.

Jennifer
