"So much empathy, care and understanding"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Occupational Therapy

(as the patient),

I have been attending appointments with the primary care occupational health team for a few months as my fibromyalgia was severely impacting my daily life.

My appointments were with Connor and Alex, and I can genuinely say that they have made such a huge improvement to my quality of life. They provided me with the tools I now use on a daily basis to help both my fibromyalgia and my mental health, and they displayed so much empathy, care and understanding towards me and I felt so supported by both of them.

Dear MMeg,

Many thanks for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience of working alongside one of our occupational therapists in Primary Care, Connor and our student OT, Alex.

I am delighted to read your story and pleased you have found the support offered helpful in supporting you with the tools you need to manage the impact of your condition on your daily life.

I will share your post with Connor, Alex and our wider team. All feedback regarding our service is always gratefully received. It is always lovely to know the support offered has made a difference.
