"Outstanding service, professionalism and calmness"

Good day,

Yesterday my baby daughter was taken to Stoke Mandeville hospital. She had a swollen right hand, that was not to bad in the morning but collecting her from nursery the swelling and redness needed a professional opinion. I decided to write this as I need to thank all the staff from reception right through to the nurses, the cleaners and doctors.

To the team on the paediatric emergency ward. I found it eye opening what the staff deal with on a shift, and personally was amazed at their professionalism and class when dealing with, quite frankly, rude people. I do fully understand that some of these people are in a high stress situation and possibly having the worst day ever, however, every staff member remained calm and professional, and stuck to what I can only assume is a priority list and it is not often that good things are written, or feedback given when things go well.

We were there for 10 hours, due to the multiple causes of what the swelling on my baby's hand could possibly be and would gratefully sit for another 10 hours due to how thorough and logical the staff are with diagnosing the issues and finding the correct treatment. A 10/10 must be given, I am aware there was a shift change even though we were already going through the process but in all honesty from Reception to Head Doctor everyone can truly hold their head high, outstanding service, professionalism and calmness, a truly wonderful thing to have seen and very grateful my daughter can be put in the hands of such competent and caring medical professionals.

To everyone on duty, I would like to mention, Kathy, Ashleigh, Tessa, Matt, Nicole, Leslie and Alex, I cannot thank you enough for your effort, it was noticed and even more so, appreciated.
