About: Ards Hospital / Ards Phlebotomy Hub

(as a service user),

I go for bloods once a week because of 

Gastric antral vascular ectasia which makes your blood count low. If it goes low I need a blood transfusion.  I have been going for months now and for the first few weeks it was Pedro who took my blood. He is very kind and caring and he puts me at ease. Susan is very kind and all the people at the hub are very friendly and kind.

Thank you everyone and Pedro, there is another nurse but I can't remember her name only that she was off with covid, she is nice too!
