I took our 2.5yr old to the MI clinic - he had a swollen finger and blister. Was told by the receptionist that it might not be a minor injury…she got a nurse to check. He said it wasn’t as well! I was pretty amazed. They told me I had to go to Norwich A&E…and so I left with my son and baby. An hour drive later - arrived at A&E, processed and finally saw a nurse who said it was the very definition of a minor injury! Thankfully they treated us there and my son was given the antibiotics he needed.
Shocking! They were polite..but still left appalled that we were turned away and my son had to suffer for longer.
"Minor injuries not treated…makes no sense!"
