The system seems overly bureaucratic. If I’ve reported a positive lateral flow test, and am confirmed as being highly clinically vulnerable then there shouldn’t be a need for GP/111 referral.
It’s also sad that there isn’t any available space for the infusion to be given when that’s a much more effective and single dose treatment. Quality of life should be considered when treatments are withdrawn without consultation.
The nurse was lovely and couldn’t have tried harder to sort everything out for me, and I’m very grateful to her
