I had a brain aneurysm which in turn led to a hemorrhagic stroke and I was taken to Ninewells where I had the bleed stopped, then to Edinburgh to have the aneurysm coiled. Then back to Ninewells and eventually to Royal Victoria where I spent 10 months having physio, speech and language, cognitive therapy etc! Eventually getting home last April!
I can honestly say that the staff at Victoria are incredible! And I have made some lasting friends! My whole experience was made easier by the staff who not only looked after me but my family too! So I would like to take this chance to thank them all from the bottom of my heart! Lorraine, Hayley, Ellen, so many more too! They are all amazing and even though their jobs at times are very difficult! Thank you! xxx
