About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Radiography services

(as a service user),

I had an appointment to come up to Radiology in Daisy Hill to get an Ultrasound on a suspected umbilical hernia.

I was seen instantly by a consultant called Simon. He was an absolute gentleman. He really explained the whole process with me down to every last detail during the scan. He was very reassuring and made me feel very at ease. He had a lovely presence about him and has a very caring nature with patients.

I was very happy with the service I received in Radiology at Daisy Hill.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of having an Ultrasound scan performed. I am not surprised by your comments as Simon is a very valued member of our team here at DHH.

I am very happy to hear how positive your experience was. Coming for scans can often be an anxious time for patients so it is great to hear that you were reassured and made to feel at ease.

I know it means a lot to the staff here in the Radiology department to receive such positive feedback so I will make sure to pass this on to Simon and the team.

Thank you very much for your response. I am back up for another ultrasound at the end of the month and know it will be another great experience. I was in yesterday with a query about my appoitment and Claire was very helpful in finding out all the information I needed to know. Thank you for providing such fantastic service as always.
