Arriving at work in the Royal Alexandra Hospital took a slight reversal of roles whereby finding myself on the receiving end of our fantastic NHS.
Promptly attended to by the Emergency Department team and passed over to team Surgery in the Surgical Assessment Unit. CT scan and then onto theatre later that afternoon, finishing my journey in Ward 20.
Home now and reflecting upon what an incredibly joined up piece of work I experienced. Treated with respect and compassion throughout my short stay, I felt reassured knowing I was in the best hands. Too many to mention and I hope my gratitude was extended personally at the time to all involved.
You are an amazing team.
Truly thankful and proud.
"Incredible care from start to finish"
