I recently attended a&e in Daisy Hill hospital after being referred by my GP. After a short waiting time I was seen by the doctor who quite quickly organised a scan m, bloods etc.
After a further short wait I was advised that given high infection markers it was advisable that I would be admitted. I was taken a short time later onto the female surgical ward at Daisy Hill, where I can only describe my care from the doctors and nurses as exemplary, with a very special mention to nurses Bernie, Julia, Jenny and Dinah, who I feel are superb at their jobs, the care and attention they gave me during my 3 days in hospital was without fault.
In a time when our Health Service comes under scrutiny I want to reiterate my very positive experience in Daisy Hill and in particular these very special nurses and care assistants who go above and beyond their duties despite the pressures put on them.
Thanks so much for all you do to care for us....
