I gave birth recently at Antrim Area Hospital.
Throughout my pregnancy and birth, the Northern Ireland Health Care midwives, nurses, doctors and anaesthetists were outstanding. I was induced at 40 weeks which was an exhausting 2 days, however all staff were continuously supportive and got me through the birth. They truly showed that they cared and I can not fault them.
My husband and I felt supported with the upmost care through out the process.
Although we saw many different staff members and want to thank them all, we would like to give special thanks to midwives Sarah, Suzi, Megan, Leanne and Sister Marie Therese.
I hope this message reaches those working in the maternity departments at Antrim Area Hospital.
"They truly showed that they cared"
