"Exemplary care in haematology ward 4c"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Clinical Haematology (Ward 4c)

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Ward 4c at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in June and continue my treatment. From the moment I was diagnosed to the current day the doctors, nurses and support staff have been fantastic.

What was good?

No matter what is happening on the ward I feel that I have the full attention and care of all in ward C. I am amazed by the dedication and care shown by all, I am always greeted with a smile and positive attitude or when required, professional and reassuring guidance on my condition and treatments.

What could have been better?

It was clear particularly during hot days that the ambient temperature within the nurses preparation room was causing unnecessary fatigue. I would urge the hospital management to resolve this particular issue. This is something that can and should be resolved.

How do I feel about my care?

My care has and continues to be exemplary.
