About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

I had a breast total duct excision operation yesterday morning in the day surgery unit at Wishaw general.

I was extremely well looked after. Cheryl and Jane made me feel totally at ease and couldn’t do enough for me. I was extremely impressed with how well organised everything and everyone was. I was fully informed about everything by nurses, anaesthetists , and doctors and nurses who were all very caring and friendly.

I would just like to say thank you to everyone for putting me at ease and making the whole experience much more pleasant. I’ve had a good nights sleep and are off pain killers.  

Thanks Everyone. You are a fabulous example of what our NHS is all about.
