"Disgraceful performance"

I had reason to visit omnes third party dermatology at Eastleigh Hampshire Health Centre this morning 22nd Nov.2023 for 0900 appointment having driven from home address in New Forest, 15 miles away in rush hour traffic. At 0940 I spoke with Health Centre receptionist to ask if I was in correct place. She checked and found door to clinic locked and shut. In meantime another patient with 0930 appointment joined conversation and telephoned Omnes to be told staff member had gone off sick. I left Centre extremely annoyed only to telephoned by Omnes at 0950 and the lady said she had only just heard off the failure. She apologised for the situation but then added that there were no further appointments and I would go on the waiting list. I know people go off sick but not to have a contingency plan is very unprofessional especially as we had to be there 10 minutes early and if 10 minutes late forget it. If this the way Omnes treat their patients NHS should consider carefully who they outsource resources to.
