"Thank you for caring for my mum and also for us, her family"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a relative),

My mum was taken to hospital mid-November by two exceptionally lovely ambulance drivers.

She had the best of care from the resus team who were very attentive. The intensive care doctor was so kind and helpful to me in explaining the limitations of what they could do for her.

My mum died on the following day, however, the support she received made me feel we fought hard to save her but enabled her to have a dignified death whilst remaining with her family.

Dear Dained547

Firstly, please accept my sincerest condolences for the loss of your mum. I appreciate that this must continue to be a very difficult time for you and I would like to thank you for sharing your feedback here on CareOpinion. My thoughts are with you and your family during this sad and difficult time

It is so kind of you to think of the staff and to say thanks to everyone involved in your mums’ care, especially when you will be grieving and trying to come to terms with everything. This really means a lot and I thank you so much.

Kindest Regards and thank you again

Lesley
