"Caring support "

During a recent episode of mental illness I found the team, from reception to consultant excellent. I felt that I was heard and given appropriate treatment, care and support.

I struggled to engage with services in the past. Giving the team a chance to help is essential. Forming a partnership with the team and engaging with their support has significantly improved my mental health. Have faith in them and the fact that they do care and want to help. It is not always easy to be patient when you are in distress and treatment can be difficult sometimes, but give them a chance to help. Things will get better.
