"They have been exceptional, I feel they really do care"

About: Fife Community Services / Community Cardiac Specialist Service Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Cardiothoracic Surgery

(as the patient),

I suffered a heart attack while training at the end of August 23. Two members of staff saved me using CPR and Defib machines and I am and always will be forever grateful.

I was taken to Edinburgh Royal and spent around 3.5 weeks following a quadruple heart bypass. My care was exceptional, doctors, nurses, everyone, thanks.

Following release from hospital I quickly came under the fantastic care of the Fife Community Cardiac Specialist Nurse Service and again my care from the nurses has been exceptional, I feel they really do care. They are very open and honest and I trust them.

Now attending rehab gym classes which are helping me recover and hopefully back to where I was.
