"Care and support for my father"

After a cry for help from my father, Older people’s Mental Health became involved in his diagnosis and care plan during this last year.

As a family we have had many visits and meetings with various support groups, all with best intentions to help, but the support, visits and relationship built with Older Peoples Health, and in particular Jo has been invaluable. Dad feels like an individual, is listened to and , advice and support has been given. Dad and mum, both now diagnosed have been able to remain at present living in their own home and regard Jo’s visits as a life line to keeping their independence.
