"The staff were extremely kind and understanding"

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / Interventional Cardiology

(as a service user),

I had chest pain on and off for a while. Each time I came up to the A&E. I was told I was fine. However, one time the doctor suggested I stay in. I was taken into Ward 9 and was given a stress test. I was allowed home.

A short time alter I was given an appointment with cardiac clinic. The consultant suggested I come in for an angiogram. That was when I was diagnosed with narrowing heart arteries. I was kept overnight in the Cath Lab.

When I was admitted to the Cath Lab, the staff were extremely kind and made me feel at ease. After the angiogram I was kept in. Next morning the surgeon advised re I would be kept in and advised I would be going to the Golden Jubilee.

The staff in the Cath Lab were extremely kind and understanding. Anything I asked, nothing was a problem for them to do, I feel very safe and well looked after. I can't thank them enough.
