"Disabled car parking"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

Anything else?

I have nothing but praise for the hospital and it's wonderful staff however - the disabled parking is not good - on each of my visits I have counted at least 10 cars parked in the disabled car park near the fracture clinic without blue badges - it appears to be worst on Saturdays and Sundays ? I have even seen staff in uniform getting into cars without badges - totally unacceptable when blue badge holders have no where to park because this car park is full

We do acknowledge that this has been a worsening problem over the last few months, which is impacting on those patients, visitors and carers who need to use these parking spaces most.

From next week (w/c 14 October) we will be increasing patrols in these car parks to ensure that both patients and staff are parking appropriately. We will also politely remind our own colleagues that when parking on-site, only designated staff car parks should be used and describe the impact inappropriate parking has on our patients and visitors.
