About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

Day surgery to remove a cancerous lump from my breast.

I was very anxious when I arrived at the ward but the staff were really friendly & helpful which helped put me at ease. 

I had to wait for 4 hours for my surgery, which was long, but understood there were other patients that were in front of me. The nurses kept checking on me throughout that time & gave me a blanket when I was cold.

Hi Sandra

Thanks for your response. I would be happy for you to share my feedback with the staff as they were all great both before & after my op. They were also very supportive to my husband too.
