In June 2023 I went for my regular mammogram and in July I received a recall letter. On that day they carried it out again, took biopsies and I would be back next week for results. Julie and the team there were great. Results, stage one ductil cancer. Date set for operation to remove in October.

The team at Wishaw hospital were also great (Fiona, Mrs Lannigan, Jennifer & nurse Margaret to name but a few. Taken at 0910hrs and was out by lunch time. Brilliant. Follow up took place in early November with great result, all margins and lymph nodes clear.

Follow up appointments to come but I cannot praise the whole team enough they were all brilliant from start till now putting me at ease and providing information on every detail. Thank you is so insufficient they deserve the highest praise. Brilliant team. If you are asked to go for a mammogram ~ GO
