"I felt welcomed and put at ease"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed and put at ease. Even though I was early, and the receptionist and nurses were still getting ready for the day.

The nurse who booked me in went through everything thoroughly, with his dad joke humour which was appreciated. Apologies I can’t remember your name!

When I went through for the procedure, once again the nurses and Dr Duncan were amazing.

Thank you all for both being respectful, thorough, kind and funny… and yes it was the best toast I’ve ever had!

Keep doing what you are doing!

Dear Elusive Shadow Fox

Thank you so much for taking time to feedback about your visit to us here at the Regional Endoscopy Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital. It was lovely to read all your very positive comments. Especially that due to the communication between yourself and the team that you felt welcome, along with the kindness show it helped to make this a stress free journey.

I agree sometime a little humor can just take away all the anxiousness of coming in to hospital for any procedure and the tea and toast rounds up your journey. I will certainly pass you lovely comments on to the team, especially CNS Duncan and his team who were with you throughout your procedure. Wishing you a speedy recovery

Kindest regards

Ann
