"It was impressive and faultless, everyone worked as a team"

About: General practices in Ayrshire & Arran University Hospital Ayr / Respiratory Medicine

(as a carer),

For the first time ever I was admitted to hospital and spent 5 days getting better from a pre-existing lung condition/ bout of Pneumonia.

My wife took me do the Kirkhall Practice Prestwick and my GP arranged a swift and efficient admission to the Hospital whereupon I was admitted to a bedded ward in Station 2.

The service and standard of care was beyond belief. Every aspect of the care was truly special from housekeeping, excellent food, right through to the nursing and medical care. It was impressive and faultless in the way that everyone worked as a team. Everybody was so friendly and kind.

The service is rated as 5 Star plus in every respect but even beyond that, this Ward seemed to to have a special magic and a real sense of community spirit and connection with everyone looking out for one another.

Dear Donaldus

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your feedback on your healthcare experience. I'm pleased to hear that your GP managed to arrange a quick admission to hospital for you.

I would be delighted to forward your comments on to the Kirkhall Medical Practice team.

Wishing you the very best on your recovery.

Regards

Marie
