About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as a service user),

Thank you to the staff at the New Victoria Hospital, this is such a lovely and welcoming ward.

I am an extremely nervous patient and was very worried before and during my procedure. The staff are so lovely and supportive and completely put me at ease.

Special mention to Dr Guerrero, Nurse Alison and ODP Rene. Thanks for being patient and explaining everything so well. What a wonderful manner each staff member has. I would have no issue returning for another procedure.

Many thanks for taking the time to share your experience as a patient in our day surgery Unit. Feedback from patients is always warmly received by staff. I am delighted to read that you had a positive patient experience, as you mentioned it can be a very anxious time being a patient, and I am grateful that the team were able to help make you feel supported and at ease. I will ensure your kind feedback is shared with Dr Guerrero, Alison, Rene and the entire day surgery team. Feedback from patients certainly keeps the team striving to deliver best care they can every day.

Although we hope you do not have to return to be a patient again in the near future, I am encouraged to read that if you did come back you would be happy for it to be with us in the Day surgery Unit.
