"My life cannot go on like this."

About: General practices in Dumfries and Galloway

(as the patient),

Throughout my adult life I have been in pain with lower back issues which start in 1990. My sporting life ruined so gave up all sports and started hiking in 1998, I soon found my legs wasn't working that well and since then have struggled badly, tripping, falling and been in and out of hospital, in 2013 the doctors started looking into MS but it came back normal, then CRS but with the pain getting worse the doctors gave me a few scans and found I have arthritis of the spine and hips.

In the last few years moving to Scotland my health has gone down hill badly. I'm not sure how many times I have been in hospital as I have lost count. My lower back gave way leading to being rushed in hospital with no results this year and 2 months later my left knee gave way and have been in terrible pain since. This is my 4th visit to the doctor soon and now my right knee is showing the same signs. I now understand I have something terrible going on within my body. I'm 51, soon to be 52 and feel my life will be short lived. I can no longer do the things I loved doing. I don't feel the NHS has not helped, they keep changing what I have and keep being passed from person to person with no outcome. Life can not go on like this.
