About: One Recovery Bucks / Aylesbury

(as a service user),

I was advised to get in touch with One Recovery by my GP. The self referral process was very smooth:

-Online application

-Follow up call

-Attendance to into session

-Referral to key worker

-1st meeting with key worker

All within 2 weeks

My key worker was great, informal, approachable but professional.

Obviously highly experienced (including formal education). Tailored the programme and advice to my world/needs. Even called and texted when ideas which might work for me occurred to them.

Supportive, non-judgemental. I felt physically and emotionally safe, challenged me and held me accountable without me feel too pressured. I'm really greatful to my keyworker and that the service exists.

My name is Sophie, I am the Office Manager at One Recovery Bucks. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with such in depth and personal feedback about your experience with our service right from the start. It is really helpful for us to know that you found the referral process itself to be smooth and that you were seen by your keyworker within 2 weeks. We always aim to have our service users assessed within 15 working days and allocated a keyworker after this.

Also, the fact you felt supported, not judged, physically and emotionally safe is just amazing for us to hear, this is what we strive for with all of our service users.
