"Continence Assessment Clinic experience"

I attended a clinic with Sister Fidelma at Holywood Arches Health Centre, Belfast. From listening to me and reading the charts I had completed Fidelma made multiple observations re. my overactive bladder and bowel issues. She explained these in detail, supported by diagrams showing how the bladder and colon work. She talked me through a variety of good practices/techniques to help me change behaviours and better manage the issues myself and she also gave me lots of easy-to-understand, practical information sheets and publicly available help points. Fidelma was professional in her approach, with comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge, down to earth, courteous, practical, patient-focused, and ensured I got answers and ways forward. I found this session excellent, very useful indeed and I appreciate all her help. Thank you.
