"Overall it was a pleasant experience"

About: Trauma & orthopaedics / Orthopaedic National Treatment Centre

(as the patient),

I came in to the NTC for a hip manipulation under GA. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I was dealt with promptly and efficiently. I was greeted by every member of staff and had everything explained to me.

I was admitted by an N/A, I'm sorry I forgot your name but you were so lovely and bubbly and made me feel at ease. I spoke with anaesthetics and Dr Ballantyne before my procedure and I was made fully aware of what would be happening and was given the opportunity to ask any questions I had.

After my procedure I was taken to recovery and looked after by Jordan who was very attentive. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Thank you to all involved.

Good afternoon lisapro89,

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your feedback in Care Opinion. It is both pleasing and reassuring to hear that your experience was a positive one.

Communication is pivotal during the orthopaedic journey and it is evident that this came from all members of the team. It certainly is a team effort and I will pass on your comments to all the staff.

Best wishes in your continued recovery.

SCN Lorna Bellingham
