"The care and support I got from the staff was second to none"

About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Haematology (Clinical)

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma in July 2021. This was during COVID so I had to do all my appointments and chemotherapy on my own with out the support of my husband or family. 

The care and support I got from the staff was second to none they couldn't have done anymore for me.

I was saddened to hear you had to go through treatment without your husband and family which I believe from your story was due to covid restrictions, however delighted you received such great care from staff.
