I could not get through to the hospital after 36 tries to the hospital. Then after I did get through, a woman answered and asked for my gestation. I told her I was 24+6 and she then told me that babies don’t have a brain developed enough to move within a certain amount of time. Once every 24 hours is more than sufficient. I was told by my midwife to phone and go to hospital if I hadn’t felt movement. During this call she was very patronising and kept calling me darling and talking down to me. I do sound quite young but I am 24 and this is my second baby so I know how my body is feeling. I am not happy with the way I was treated and want something done about this matter.
"Baby hadn’t moved so phoned maternity assessment."
