After my hysterectomy surgery, I was brought to ward 56, room 9 in Glasgows Royal Infirmary. It was here I was first washed down after my surgery and as difficult as it was, was made to feel as comfortable as possible. The staff were so friendly and helpful even when I wasn’t feeling the greatest.
I was then shortly moved into room 7. During this time, I was very nauseous and felt like I was never going to get better, however all through this, the staff again were superb and could not do enough for me.
They are a great team and work above and beyond to make their patients comfortable during difficult times. I can only thank them enough and hope they know how much they helped me through that tough period.
